The Skill Development Centre at Vidya Vikas First Grade College was started in the year 2016 with Mission that Skill Development Cell develops and nurture skills among students which make them competent and employable.

The Skill Development Centre at Vidya Vikas First Grade College was started with the motto of providing training to students which is of high industry relevance, in addition to their academic learning.

A Survey is usually undertaken through a questionnaire to know student (All UG & PG) career interests, based on which few key training programs are planned for the academic year in different domains such as Commerce, Management, Science and Computers and few others. The skill courses opted by majority of the students for the Academic year are shortlisted and training is provided by the College.

Courses are open for both UG as well as PG students of Vidya Vikas First Grade College and classes are conducted in batches based on number of students enrolled and course.
