The Vidya Vikas Post Graduate Department of Commerce is one of the leading institutions managed by Vidya Vikas Educational Trust®, Mysore. Presently the Department offers Masters in Commerce (M.Com) affiliated to the world renowned University of Mysore.
Vidya Vikas Post Graduate Department of Commerce is affiliated to the University of Mysore and follows the guidelines prescribed by the University from time to time. The admission process is also followed as per the set University norms.
M.Com course follows the syllabus prescribed by the University of Mysore. The Department makes efforts to complement the prescribed curriculum through related practical activities to enhance the teaching and learning process. The Department prepares ‘Calendar of events’ every semester where activities proposed for the semester are maintained on the proposed date and every efforts are made to ensure that they are organized & conducted. Students are encouraged to form committees & organize events for the respective semester by themselves. The activities proposed are based on their curriculum & also for ensuring an overall growth & development of the students. Students develop self-confidence, work in teams and improve skills.

- The Class rooms are well equipped with projectors and LCD screens to facilitate effective teaching through powerpoint presentations, and student presentations by conducting class room seminars.
- To facilitate teaching through latest ICT tools the college also has advanced Smart rooms with ample seating facility for students not only for imparting curriculum but also to conduct various Academic and Non Academic programs such as Guest Lectures, Seminars, Quiz, Workshops, Personality Development programs, placement training etc.
- A well quipped computer lab is also available to conduct career oriented training programs such as Tally, Excel, Powerpoint which is a crucial requirement in the industry for the students of B.Com.
- Library with latest editions of books authored by both National and International authors and Journals in the area of Commerce, Administration, Taxation, Accounting, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Business Law and many other related and general subjects are available.
- Provisions for separate waiting room for Girls and for the sick students are made.
- A Seminar Hall with a seating capacity of 150 is available to conduct various Academic and Non Academic Programs from the Department.
- Public Address system to provide any updates and make any announcements also is available in the campus.
